Hi there

I'm heading down to Torquay this weekend for a couple of days, Although I'm there quite often I've never managed to take my gun and kit with me, but hopefully I should be able to this time.

Does anyone know of any good spots? I stay with my mother in law who lives quite close in Babbacombe and figured this would be a good place to start looking. any ideas?

Thanks

Nice report shiny!

When you haven't been in a good long report is nearly worth being there!

Tribs

PS Went out in my new boat today and found a spot 129ft deep in torbay, blew me away catching whiting in August.

I ended up having a couple of dives off a really nice little beach that I'd never been to before, even though I've driven past it a hundred times. Great setup, nice kelp beds but no bass... I saw loads of small Mullet, some small Pollock, and small Whiting as well. I've got a freezer full of fish from some recent fly fishing so I wasn't too bothered, although it's hard to beat fresh Bass.

It was nice to see some fish but the vis definatly wasn't as good as it looked from the shore, really green, I guess there must be a lot of plantton in the water at the moment.

I'll give it another go at the weekend I guess, I think the weather is forecast to be alright for a change.
