Hello all!

I just wanted to let you know that we're now on Twitter and can be found here.

For those you who aren't familiar with what Twitter is, just think of it like this: It's a micro-blogging/networking service that lets you receive updates across a broad range of things (SMS, RSS, instant messages, etc). The messages posted are usually pretty short and limited to a sentence or two, and are broadcast as soon as they're submitted. For example, if we made the post, you'd be notified of it in seconds (via cell phone, computer, etc.), no matter where you are.

Subscribers will be able to receive our tweets regarding new news, new articles, instant coverage of shows and competitions as well as forums posts (that bit is coming soon).

So i've integrated in the following types of notifications:

• Articles
• News
• Blogs
• Forum New Threads

Is there a way to just select on or two of those items on my twitter? The forum new threads is a little overwhelming...

JMD - not at the moment - the only other way is for us to split the Twitter into various accounts (e.g. deeperblue-news).

I've removed the DB forum posts from the Twitter feed so it's now only showing news, feature articles and forum blog posts.

Thanks Stephan thats much appreciated, I didn't realize how busy this forum was until I got a new notification every 2 minutes LOL

Hahahaha - actually the forum is a lot busier than that as the Twitter feed only picked up new threads, not new posts to older threads!

We see around 200 - 300 posts a day on here which is a headache to keep up with

Just kidding, it's a great community and it's been fun to watch it evolve over the years.
