This belongs in the Wisconsin subforum, but there's no Beach Bar (Brats and Brauhaus) there.
I had one of the best weekends since moving to Chicago, as I got to hang out with Cigarlung, his very lovely wife, and fun daughter on Saturday! A great time with a great family! We started the day at Lincoln Park Zoo and saw the seals show off their pseudo bi-fin technique, as well as the oryx, camelids, monkeys, lion, and tiger. We also saw a mother duck and her little ducklings. We then wandered to Shedd Aquarium only to find it closed early for a private party (next time!) so we turned to the Field Museum instead, but I had to leave early to arrange for internet service in my new abode.
I got some great, free tips on freediving and suiting up! Not to mention, all kinds of stories about adventures all over the world.
This is the first time I have gotten to meet a DB personality and friend in "real life," and it was a spectacular treat. I hope to meet more of you in the future! Cheers to you all, and Cigarlung, thanks for sharing your weekend and family with me!
