I've had a couple of posts lately that I'd like to delete, but the option seems to be missing. What gives? Is this permanent?

Well, I see the delete button at all of my old posts, but only after I click Edit, of course. If you do not see it even there, then try clicking the Go Advanced button - the delete section is then at the very top.

Okay...
Looks like it works for normal posts, but I'm not allowed to delete if my post started a thread. That's new.

BatRay,

You can't delete your post if you start a thread as that action would mean the whole thread would disappear. If you need a thread removing please contact me or one of the Mentors/Team Leaders.

Ta!

Thanks! I thought I remembered the option being available, even if it was a thread starter. Good to know :)
