Delivery times of wetsuit companies
I have ordered a custom made suit from the marea and the estimated delivery time they promised was 20 days from the payment. Well I have been waiting twice as long as they promised. I was actually going for elios but their delivery time would have been 45 days and I needed the suit before that and it was the main reason why I choosed marea. I have send mails for marea and their answer is always that they are sorry for the delay and will send my suit in the beginning of the month ,next week or something. I'm really getting tired of this waiting and would like to know why it is delayed and when do I really get it. I think it's a part of the good customer service to inform if the order is not going to be delayed. (IMHO they should send it by express or add some extras to the packet just to show that they care about the customers and want to keep them happy. Even after they have the money.)
So I wanted to provoke a conversation about this question so we could have some kind of idea where you can get the funds in time and when to get ready that it may take a long time. Maybe some peoples who work in those companies is also reading this forum so they can improve their customer services? A good reputation is still the cheapest advertising you can get..
Have you ordered a custom made wetsuit and what company? What was the estimated delivery time? How about the real delivery time? Where you informed what is your orders situation. If there was some problems did you get any extras, faster delivery or maybe cheaper price?
