Just wanted to say Hi. I'm keen to start Spearfishing in North/South Devon. Getting the kit together over the Winter to get into the water in the New Year. Getting fed up of fishing with rod and line, looking forward to spearing a few fish and just enjoying a new sport. Great site.

cheers

Adam

Welcome Adam. I've just started skimming throughDr. Mike Ladle's new sea angling book (v. interesting) & he suggests fishing for flatties in estuaries/rias (he lives near Poole Harbour) in winter. Portland Harbour seems to be a popular winter spot for spearos. There are many similar places in Devon. I love fishing in Devon - you are well located, if that is where you are.

Forum member Pav is a good source of information on N. Devon.
