Hey everyone.. well, I've been thinking and I found myself in a pickle.

when i was born, i was born with a clubbed foot and had correctional surgery when i was about 7 months old. my right foot is about.. 1-3 inches smaller than my left. Also, for the procedure, they cut around my ankle, peeled the skin back, and brought tissue from my calf down into my ankle/heel to fix it. as a result, my right leg [ below the knee ] is about. 25-30% smaller/thinner than my left also. I don't use fins as they dont really appeal to me all that much, but hey, dont knock it till you try it. right?

So, should I get the left size for both my left and right? or should i go with two different sizes? I don't do this with my shoes, as I think it feels.. awkward and noticeable..a bit embarrasing I suppose.

I've also recently been diagnosed with Chondro-Malacia Patella in both my knees, worse in my left.. will this in anyway affect my performance since there really is not much if any motor motion underwater?

Thank you.

You might consider the same size footpockets on bi-fins, with a 6m bootie on one foot and a 3mm bootie on the other- maybe you could pack some material into the pocket that's too big.
Another thought is a monofin, which might solve a few things too.
Peace,
Erik Y.
