I have been diving for a few years now and have regularly experienced a discomfort in my mid/upper abdomen on the left side following constant ballast training. It has never been a pain, but more of a slight cramp as if something was contracting.

I thought it may be my spleen as it is located in this area of the abdomen and it contracts during breath hold. However, I have never felt this sensation following static or dynamic training.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any thoughts on what it could be?
