As an PADI advanced diver I was considering a dive computer to add to my equipment list. I am looking for something that is inexpensive yet still has the necesary features. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I currently use (and love) the Suunto Vyper. The Gekko Version is a nice lower cost alternative if you don;t need a download feature.

used the Suunto Cobra for a few years, but wen back to something wrist mounted and non-air integrated. personally I like to keep things simple...

I second the wrist mounted, non air integrated. I have several but usually use the Suunto D6 with a backup of an Apeks Quantum as a backup for tech dives.

Thanks. I am leaing towards the suunto gekko because i don't feel i would use the download feature. The low price is also very intriguing considering the limited cash flow I have. Thanks again for the advice.
