Diving in the UK, especially early in the year I always suffer from cold hands, some friends have said to try mittens instead of gloves, can anyone recommend any particular make/seller.

thanks Kev

Endurotech Kevlar covered 5mm
Not much flex but oh so durable and if you are quick £10 on ebay at the mo for £35 mits.
I have not seen better! smaller trigger guards may be a problem!

Right now I use henderson gold core 6.5mm gloves. My fingertips get cold if I forget to 'pump' them now and then - but they are pretty good. Last year, however, I used a pair of extremely cheap 3 finger mits and they were actually warmer. They were DeepSee brand or something and can be had for not much. The hendersons are pricier.

I'm diving in 3 or 4C

Cold hands are my weakness, so I wear dry gloves all year long.
Peace,
Erik Y.

Like Erik said- dry gloves when it gets cold.

pardon my ignorance on cold weather precautions, but out of curiosity, could you shoot a gun with mittens?

Marwan, dive mittens are three fingered. So your trigger finger is free. If your trigger finger gets cold you can move it within the glove to be with the others fingers and keep it warm.

Happy birthday flattie! :D

Never being one to deprive myself I am going to go with 7mm boots and mittens made by Eilos.
Thanks for the imput. Kev.
