Bill, you are fast

I wonder if it really was 14 degrees on the bottom, or is that just the suuntos temp sensor not being fast enough? That's luxurious! Why would anyone even bother with a suit? (except for jellyfish protection, I guess)

...I was not at the bottom my self... this time. But this is the numbers I have (check the text at Carlos profile) 14C from 91m and down...

Some people like to start the sink quite early. It would make sense that they are thus carrying more weight. As they go deeper and deeper, the wet suit and lungs lose buoyancy and the decent accelerates. For others, maybe they kick down to -40 and don't carry any weights?

If I remember correctly, when I was in Nice Nery was training in a 7mm suit without any weights or something like that. I don't know if that was just training or if he competes like that too...Anyway, with that configuration, you might expect something like that.

I check the pictures of the competition and Molchanova seems to have just 1 kg on her belt. Therefore, I still don't understand the differences between the dive profils.

I have put the dive profils on the same image.
Interesting ..... the deepest seem to mean the slowest.

Look how long Herbert was at 107M, it's like close to ten seconds. Who knows what would have happened if he'd bounced a bit quicker.

I finally heard back from Natalia. Unfortunately she doesn't speak english very well and I much less russian Too bad, since she propably has a lot of interesting stuff to say.

Anyway, this was the short reply:

"About 86m-I am not stronger,but I can relax"

Will try a full interview if I find someone who can translate...
