I am fairly new to freediving and enthusiastic as I was last September; I rushed into a dive and had my right eardrum perforated. My eardrum has healed completely and I ve had my first dive about a week ago; slowly down to 10m FIM, just to see how my equalisation is working- everything went fine. Yesterday i went out to dive again and although I followed the same drill FIM, I couldnt sense my right eardum equalising..not even at 2m. Any thoughts or suggestions on this will be appreciated-thank you.

Don't dive until you have had a ENT physician check you out. There is a reason you can't equalize...and you do not want to re-rupture or perforate your ear drum. It might be any number of things, but I don't believe in coincidences. Stay safe!
