Diving near Puerto Vallarta, Mexico?

My wife and I just booked a 2 week vacation in a resort just outside of Puerto Vallarta. We leave on Friday July 15th.

Anyone know of freedivers or dive locations in Puerto Vallarta. There are a number of scuba charters around there that I will email, but would appreciate any first hand recommendations.
