Diving off Sea Trail Resort in NC?

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

Anyone ever been diving off the beach at the Sea Trail Resort, south of Wilmington, NC, and north of Myrtle Beach? I'll be there Oct. 21-23 for a business conference, and there'll be a good chunk of free time on Saturday afternoon. The resort's web site lists deep-sea fishing and pier fishing.

Any thoughts about the diving there for a snorkeling nut (but freediving newbie)?
