I have polar A3 and it is water resistant to 30m. Has anyone been diving with it? I also had a Casio watch that was water resistan to 50m but it 'died' at 15m. so....is Polar going to 'survive' the depth to 30m:)?

I have a Timex HRM which I use in the pool. It is water resistant to 30m, but it stopped working during a pool session, max depth 2m! Afterwards I opened the cover at the back and left it open overnight to let any water dry out, and it worked the next day. It still works, and I still use it in the pool.

I'm not sure how the different brands compare when it comes to depth resistance, but I saw a consumer report which said that Casio watches are not very good, even for use in the pool.

What kind of HRM is the Polar? Does it give accurate measurements underwater?

Cheers

Lucia

Well, everyone I asked which HRM to buy everyone said Polar, (even on deeperblue i think...) so I got it.
I don't know how accurate it is underwater cause I never used it underwater, but im planing to so i'm asking theese questions...
Well, i'll try it and if it stops i'll do the same as you...thanx!
