I have a brand new body board and am ready to get started making the float, but have a few questions that I can't find answers to in the forums. I would love to add a good bit of stainless steel hardware to it but I am now loathe to drill repeatedly through the board after reading about water logging. Sealant might alleviate some of this concern but then I was thinking about just epoxying connection points right onto the bottom and top of the board. However no one appears to have done this. Is it likely that the bit of board attached to the epoxy and hardware will simply rip away from the rest of the board if put under a little stress? Despite hours of reading posts I still cannot determine the best way to attach the hardware to the board without the eventually water logging. Thanks.
