Well i saw this video on youtube on how to build a underwater camera housing
and set out to build the same thing myself, I chose this design because it was simple, meaning that the chaces of a leak occuring are minimized and the ability to find the leak is maximized.
I got my materials for about $45au and set out making the project in much the same way as in the video however i do still question whether I should have put the plexi glass on the in or outside as putting it on the outside would be supported alot better from the external pressure.???
also whether I would have been better off using glass rather than the plexi glass.
in the build im afraid a friged around and got silicon on the plexi glass then tryed to rub it off only to make it worse lol:duh - i felt like mr bean in that 1st movie when he destroys the painting lol dosnt matter too much as i can still get the lens of the camera into a nise clear spot thaxgod
any1 know how to get silicon off plexi glass?????
havent tested it yet, but when i do ill have to see weather or not i need teflon tape as the lid has an 0-ring in it
im thinking about buying the aiptec ahd t7 full HD 1080p camera for 86$ cons: bad sound and no imagie stabilization --> perfect for diving hey?:D
pics comming soon:D
and footage:D:D
i might just add that i have no liabilitiy if you stuff your camera/whateveritem doing this ----- happy filming lol
