DIY Wetsuit hanger

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

I was looking around for quite some time to find a good way to store my suit without it getting bumps on the shoulders from hangers that are too thin or too narrow.

Walking throught the hardware store for other reasons I saw a piece of pipe isolation. And an idea crossed my mind...

At home I took a regular hanger and put the isolation over it, it has glue on the side, so no need to do any glueing. Cut off the ends and gave them somewhat a round shape.
Cost me 2,30 euros, took about 2 minutes and the result ist AWESOME!


I am sure a lolt of you peole had similar ideas, here is my interprtation. Holds both, pants and top:




Hope you can see the nice round shape of the shoulder on the hanger.
