Does a donation of blood affect apnea performance?

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

Just this question. So: does a donation of blood affect apnea performance? If this has been answered before, can someone redirect me, please. Thank you!
 
The bottom line for blood donation is this:

- If you are not training intensively, then you can donate blood. Performance will drop slightly if you are pushing to the limit. Performance will return to previous levels in time.

- If you are in extreme training and struggling to maintain hemoglobin of 17+ g/dl, this will take weeks of extremely intensive training. If you donate blood at this point, you will throw away those weeks of intensive training. After donating blood, performance WILL NOT return to previous levels unless you repeat the same intensive training.
