im just looking for some spots to spearfish next to home. any input would be greatly appreciated:)

Hi,

I have not speared up in your neck of the woods. Be certain to check out the regulations.

One place to try is LakeSat.org University of Wisconsin-Madison - they have water clarity maps of the lakes state wide. These are mostly accurate, but must be checked out to be certain.

Anoter location is Lake-Link: Beyond The Water - Come fish the Midwest - go to fish reports & type in the lake you want to check out in the search option. You can then ask anglers if they have seen any carp. Most are willing to let you know where to go, as they want as many carp removed from the systems as possible.
