hello,

i will be in dominica in october ( hussah! ) and i want to do a afair amount of freediving, or in my case extreme snorkelling ( 20 m max i guess )
if anyone has special tips about this beautiful island, let me know.

also the water is 28° but very deep, and i guess since there is so much to see ( i am more a naturalist, then a sports-diver ) i am wondering if i should take my gara 3000 without socks, or my 2000hf with socks.

thanks for any tips!

For sightseeing, the 3000s, for sure. The 2000hfs shine when you need a lot of acceleration (spearfishing, etc).

There are several threads dealing with Dominica. Use the search function to find them. Also, give us a report after your trip. More than a few divers here are interested in Dominica.

Thanks,

Connor
