I half understand you Justin but being humane is what differentiates us from the rest of the animal kingdom. If i catch a fish i kill it quickly using a priest ,if its a chicken yes we break it's neck, a cow in the abbatoirre gets a bolt fired into it's head or an electric shock getting my drift ? Sure natures cruel when a cat plays with a dying mouse or when orca's drown a young whale only to eat it's tounge . Given the tools we have and the weapons of death we have i would prefer a clean headshot to limit their suffering. I think because they are mammals makes it more shocking but all slaughtered animals should follow the quick & clean rule just my 2 cents.JustinF said:Alright so I saw the video, pretty horrid. However, you could replace the circumstances and the dolphins with any animal we eat and produce an equally disturbing movie.
After all, I must say, anyone eating meat, myself included, is as much to blame for these types of activities as the fisherman.
Does anyone here really believe the chicken/beef/mutton etc. they eat comes from a package and not an animal? Everything we eat that we must kill first dies a similar death.
So what is the big deal?
