oh wow...

yesterday I went snorkelling in a place called Chapmans Pool about half way between Lulworth and Swanage - it was BEAUTIFUL! loads of kelp to play in, hundreds of fish - wrasse, baby pollack, shoals of shimmering fry and sand eels, swimming crabs and I caught my first ever lobster! (but he did a nifty back flip and bit me as I was trying to work out how to get him back to shore so I let him go)

Quite a hike down the cliff (and more importantly back up!) but on the way down we passed a spearo with a nice big bass so it was looking promising...

Highly recommended for a trip if anyone fancies it - how about heading down there August BH weekend? Also lots of good local pubs...

apologies to the white landrover whose bumper I was attached to most of the way from Salisbury back to Bath - you had a FREEDIVER sticker in the back window and I was trying to work out if you were some one I knew!

Lovely day - photos later perhaps

I was hunting with my camera.... so no gun... and I didn't see any bass apart from the dead one
