Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 90 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Hope your back in the water at some point during the summer Clive.

Everybody does seem to be having a good year of it so far.:)

Might even try to wet a line tomorrow and see if i can prize a bass out that way.

It seems all the flatties have moved to south devon after reading their thread:head

Brett i think Podge has lined up a 2nd hand Mini gun Goalkeeper system from the Royal Navy for the SS Crash & Burn..roflrofl

has anyone ever bought any kit from decathlon? Ive just checked their website and they have a whole section on freediving/spearfishing and the prices seem pretty good. Just wondered if anyone has ever bought their stuff and what they thought of the quality.

Poddle: I'm out after bream Sunday, but if it's canceled I may pop along the cafe @ 10:00 :)

Hightower: most of my original kit was from decathlon, like you say it's a good price, but with the Euro exchange rate at the moment - maybe not so good. I bought all my stuff while in France, sorry I have no idea what the London shop is like?? If your going over, I will put an order in for few pairs of their 5mm socks and a few bottles of calvados!!

Good luck nosepicker! Hope you get a biggie, bream are my 2nd favourite species to catch on rod and line... Someone do a weather dance for a week on Sat when fear and i are venturing to Devon in search of mighty bass.. Blue skies and 7m vis would be nice.

Only a week until i'm heading down to dorset for a week! can't wait. (yes a week solid of spearfishing/freediving practice)

Has the recent wind stirred things up or can i expect vis to be fairly good next week? the bloom has reduced somewhat from what you guys have reported?

Hey Amphibian, bloom down, wind and swell up! I've seen a lot of different forecasts for early next week, and they range from terrible to not so bad. Either way, looks likely you'll be seeking shelter from south / west winds...Best of luck!

Stay safe Bryn - sorry to miss you this time!
