Dear Membership

Your BSA committee have decided, as the weather has been so bad this year, to try and fit the last two competitions in on the same weekend of the 20th / 21st of September this is a totally revised date and venue. To explain: Saturday 20th at Bognor has been reassigned to Talland Bay on the same date, the following day Sunday 21st has been allocated as the back up date for Sandy Bay which was cancelled on the 7th. In affect a double weekend has been created, these are extreme measures but the year has dictated it.

Talland Bay

The competition will be shore entry and will start and finish at Talland Bay Car Park. The area allowed, extends to Hanafore Point in the east to the lighthouse on the east side of Polperro Harbour. Entrance fee: £12 to BSA members. £15 non-members. Juniors and OAP: free. General species are Pollock, Bass, Mullet, and Flat fish. Wrasse Conger and Dog Fish are excluded from the competition.
Start 10.00 Finnish 16.00. Start and finish area, enclosed car park.

Sandy Bay

Look at entry on the BSA web site for this comp; just change the date to the 21st September.

Let’s hope for a weather window to finish this year on a high.
