Is anyone out there any good at Dreamweaver? I have created a page that the text is definitely grey on when working in Dreamweaver and when I view it in Mozilla Firefox - but when I view it in IE it goes white...

any ideas? I've been through the code with a fine tooth comb but I'm stumped!

You rather need to know HTML and CSS to find that out, not really Dreamweaver. What is the URL of your page, Sam? Likely it is missing either the CSS background-color definition for the body tag, or missing the bgcolor attribute in the body tag. MSIE puts it to white by default, while Mozila browsers to grey

thanks Trux - I'll have a look at the coding, I can do HTML but am struggling with CSS!

Actually, you can do that without CSS too - as I wrote, you are very likely missing the attribute BGCOLOR in the BODY tag at the very beginning of the document. If you want it gray, set it to gray or #DDDDDD (or something close to it). If you want it white, set it to white. Otherwise, if not specified, each browser will set the default background color, which may vary.
