I looked around the forum, but didn't mange to find anything on doing dry-land statics with a perforated eardrum. I know the eardrum will take time to heal, as the doctor suggested, no swimming, and going back in 3 weeks for a check-up of the ear, and then again in May possibly; I kind of got the impression that he considered diving of any kind was out for a while longer than May, even though he mentioned it being only a small perforation.
The perforation was not caused by freediving, I had a cold which resulted in an ear infection Sunday, and by early Monday morning the pressure in the ear had got so bad that it just broke through the eardrum; but at least I'm not climbing the walls in agony any more
. I'm hoping to get back to some form of normality, with exercise, by the end of the course of antibiotics, in a week's time, in order to give the ear a bit of reovery time.
But, my concern is, will dry-land statics be too much for the ear, or should they cause no problem, does anyone have any advice they can offer on this?
