Hi there all, my name is Ray, I'm from Dublin. I have been snorkelling for 5 years or so around the Irish coast, hadn't even heard of free diving when I started! I'm fairly decent in the water, have endurance and stamina!
Really want to try Spear Fishing next. Looking for buddies around Dublin for snorkelling, join or start a club.
Also interested in Diving History, recently obtained some gems;

-30 Centuries Under the Sea by Frederic Dumas
-Undersea Treasures, A National Geographic Special Hardback published in 1974, this is an absolute gem of a book, would recommend to anyone to get their hands on it.

Also interested in maritime lore & history. I am a ships' engineer by profession.
My regards to you all, I thought I was the only one out there, snorkelling in seaweed, rain, terrible visibility & freezing water! Mad for it!
