Hi,

There are many styles how to do the turn in DYN. What is your favourite and why?

For example:

Turn and push with hand

Turn and kick

I turn and push off the wall (hard) and get 4-5m with a nice long glide.

If you time it right, you can get enough momentum with a breast stroke pullout to get you to about the 15 meter mark. You can also train with squat jumps and that will help you get a stronger push off the wall

The turn and kick off is the better technique in my opinion. If you push off with your hand you use extra energy too pick your momentum up or "get going."
