Ear pain worrisome?

Hey all,

I was practicing diving over the weekend and on the way home I had mild discomfort from water in my ear. Then I blew my noise and felt an incredible explosion in my ear the was extremely painful for a second. Now everything is fine.

I was diving only to about 10 ft but practice equalizing my ears. The place we were diving was about 1000 ft above sea level. I blew my noise at sea level.

What happened? Did I do something wrong?

Any other symptoms like dizziness, a change in sound perception or blood or fluid leaking from your ear? In case of any doubt, I would recommend to see a doctor.
