I get incredibly itchy after wearing neoprene, and it lasts for days. I am not sure what causes it in the first place, as it doesnt happen every time. The times I have used baby oil prior to putting on the wetsuit, it has made a difference.

Maybe you need to do skin tests with different kinds of neoprene?

thank you erection sup !
will try baby oil an might go see doc again.
i wonder if i should stop pissing in my suit as well ?

ok stop taking the piss . . . haha
does anyone know a skin friendly freedivers wetsuit or any other info - experience would be great

I had (have) a problem with skin irritation caused, I think, by the hair conditioner used to lube the suit. I've done some searches through DB and found various different suggestions, I'm currently trialling a product called J-Lube, it's a veterinary lubricant used during internal examinations. It's quite difficult to come by and I ended up buying it from an online fetishist store for £18 a tub. It comes in powder form and a tiny amount creates lots of slime. I found it very slippery, though it tends to clump together rather than coat the inside of the suit, I now mix a tiny amount of baby shampoo with it and it tends to break down and will coat the suit nicely. The irritation is significantly reduced, if not totally gone. Now I just need to deal with the issue of pissing in my suit, maybe get a pissette fitted.

Good luck

I'm just making sure you don't have the option to remove this post whilst I go and tell everyone that you happened across some lubrication that is designed for internally examining animals from a fetishist shop

Baaaaad move haha (that is a sheep 'Baa' see how I did that ;-) )

As per usual, a serious conversation and Steve (Apneaboy) is metaphorically stood in the background waving his genitals about.

I'll miss you when you've gone, I really will.

Sorry mate, you are on your own with this one haha. It's like a comedy sketch where you have just admitted to something very abnormal and you think the world will forget and forgive :)

And don't bring my genitals into this, at least they dont itch and have bits of animal fur on.
