Lucky chap. It could have been worse if he'd been using a grapnel weight... :O

Very lucky guy. It always amazes me at the amount of freak accidents that happen while hook and line fishing. I recently saw a story where a Greek fellow actually shot himself with his euro-gun under the jaw and out the top of his head. No brain damage and he lived.

In the years since Hunter Safety courses have become mandatory nation-wide, fishing has vastly surpassed hunting (stalking) in the number of accidents, fatal and not-so, in the U.S. However, that one is new. I don't ever recall hearing about something as weird as that before . . . thank God!

Yes, It was should I say stunning. I cant fathom nor do I care to. How in the world he managed to shoot himself threw the jaw and out the top of the head.
absolutly amazing!!! Can you just imagine that thing being cut off and then slowly pulled back threw your head, Holy Cow.
