What would be the effective range of a rabitech apex 120, with 7 mm shaft and single band 20mm. Do stainless steel bridles also break like the Dyneema?

Well mathematically it would be ~ 1.6m for the spear, 3.6m for the shooting line and .5m for your arm which is about 5.7m but minus the thickness of your target
Yes metal wishbones break too, I had one go in June whilst on holiday, it didnt half hurt my hand, wrecked my glove too, I was lucky not have been cut. All in all I like dyneema wishones, just keep them in good nick and you would be very unlucky to have one snap on a dive bet even then there is no bits of metal whipping past your fingers :)
