Elios 3mm SmoothSkin/openCell Heiwa suit

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Have to ask them! When I bought my suit they were different things - but they may have a new product now.

I have too many elios suits... one is nylon inside.. one is kanako inside/out.. two are superstretch inside.. one is open cell in/closed out..
the superstretch are definitely the best in my book.. sure, the open cell is warmest but it is not fun to lube up when it is freezing or worse outside.

3) Suit complete of Jacket 7mm / High waist pants in 5mm, Neoprene
Heiwa, Open cell inside / Kanoko Superstretch antitears Black outside
And this refers to a single lined suit.

kinda confusing but appears to refer to 3 options for the outside:kanoko, superstretch, or antitear black...

very, very confusing

I'm finally ordering the smoothskin open cell suit.
I'll write something when I receive it, in a month...

Good for you mate. I order a suit exactly like yours, and today I was informed that I would recieve it with a few days. However I cannot track my shipment with the number Elios provided, so I have to wait patiently, something I'm not good at.

... have to wait patiently, something I'm not good at.
Aaah, I'm in exactly the same situation right now. I could track the shipment from elios, but for a complicated set of reasons the suit was shipped to my sister's and is now on its way here... :head :head

Haha. What makes it worse for me is that I have 2 Paradisias that are supposed to be on the way but the dive shop has had trouble with the postage company, so argh! When is my stuff all going to come.

Elios might have mixed up my shipment though, but there is no one on this island who freedives (number of freedivers can be counted with hands and toes, numbers of serious freedivers can be counted with one hand) and is ordering a suit. In that email they asked me for payment for shorts and vest, which I never ordered. Hmmm.

nothing beats the feeling of arriving home to find a package of new dive gear, right?

Hey, question for you guys who have ordered from Elios. If they say they sent you a package, gives you a tracking number that doesn't exist, asks you for payment of items you did not order, doesn't/hasn't replied to emails sent regarding those issues, is it any reason to worry? The post company says no parcel is due to arrive for me, meaning nothing has been sent for me. I know I'm probably being paranoid, but it's in my nature.

Elios will certainly not try ripping you off. They run a serious business and cannot afford risking their reputation. Well, it is probably apparent, but I dare to mention it anyway, just for the case: make sure you test the tracking number with the right parcel service. For example, if it is a tracking number of the Italian Post, you have to check on their website, and not on the website of your local postal service.

Elios says it's with UPS, and even provided a link for it.

Yeah I know Elios won't rip me off, it's just me being paranoid. Sigh.

Apart from 10kg dentex on your stringer...and few other things.

They do not reply to emails promptly. Normally give seven days for email reply.

Yeah, they're notorious for late replies. Sorry to bother you guys. I'm just too excited. Haha. My 2 noseclips are on the way too. Whee!

Patience!

Elios make the best suits money can buy in my opinion, and the'yre worth the wait. I'm just in the process of ordering a new one with their new camo.

Yes master Captain J! I will try to be patient.

I don't think I ever experienced so much excitement waiting for something to come. I sometimes smile to myself when I think that my suit and noseclips are on the way. People are starting to think I'm weird. :t
