Hi all,

I am about to order a warm(er) water wetsuit, 3mm, form Elios. They suggested having a separate hood since when I take the hood off my current 5mm Elios it is way too tight around my neck. They said a separate hood is better than an attached one with 0.5cm-1cm added to the neck measurement. They said it will have a high neck collar (see picture) and a short hood (see picture of non-Elios hood, one that does not cover the top of the shoulders around the neck).

Does anyone have something like this from them? I assume the hood goes on last in this case, I wonder if with the extra thickness of the hood where the neck collar and hood overlap will not make it tighter? I wonder if they add the neck collar thickness to the neck measurements used for the hood so that this issue doesn't occur.

Thanks,
Gabriel
