I am 180cm,65kl 1991/USSR,open water diver, Tigulio RAS 70

Is it logical if i buy my self thoes prof. huge finns for deep underwater hunting???
will i be much much faster and much much dive deeper?i will hunt in greece spain turkey and maybe malaysia if it is legal there!!!

If you freedive with fins then I think longfins are the best. As long as the water's not too shallow.
Along with the right technique you will expend less energy(=O2) for propulsion in your dives, so I think "deeper" and "longer" will happen. As for speed, I never compared, I dive at half the speed my fins allow me, I think speed is overrated.
 
Speed is not really an issue. You can never outswim a fish.

It is all about efficiency. You want your every underwater movement to be as efficient as possible. You do not want to waste energy on making turbulence. Long fins help this and somewhat increase your range. Better equipment will help, but there is more to freediving than just long fins.

This forum is full of very usefull posts on technique and equipment. I would suggest that you read some of them. You will find what other people do when spearfish and what equipment they have. :)
