eRDP

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
I am surprised that somoene hasn't latched on to this one. Personally if you can't run the tables then you don't need to be diving. If your computer and or eRDP quit then you are screwed. Even though I use a computer I run the tables.

Some of us just refuse to take advantage of new technology...

I have been using the eRDP for a couple of months now and have really come to appreciate how quickly it presents you with dive solutions. In my opinion, it's a good peice of gear. Now, with that said, there is something to be said about the simplicity and durability of tables. So, bottom line, use the eRDP regularly, but break the tables out every know and then to keep the edge in case all goes wrong...

tables are bombproof, will never break, will never run out of batteries, then you drop them off the dock they don't stop working.

personally I see the eRDP as just another marketing tool designed to create profit and solve a problem that was never a problem.
