I just got santa (my wife) to order me a new gun for 2008 ... I can't wait to test it in action. Although this gun got excellent reviews from Skin Diver magazine, I've rarely seen anyone talk about it on this froum (only once.)

Does anyone have any comment about this gun? Any recommended modifications I should make?

This is the setup I've ordered:

Gun: Hammerhead Evolution 08
Lenght: 100 CM
Bands: Dual 16 MM bands (65cm in length)
Shaft: 7.0mm x 135cm

I didn't buy the reel due to budget limitations.

Hope to hear your comments

Happy new year to everyone

This looks like a great gun & from the test it performs like one as well. But you have to consider that unless you try it out you will ultimately feel if it's to your likings. I don't personally know of any 1 that uses this gun. To be honest I rather have another Rob Allen with their new open muzzle.I guess i have gotten attached to this kind of guns. However, this gun seems to be the perfect gun it already comes tweaked (open muzzle, dual bands, chest pad 7.0mm shaft. Good buy man.)

I know quite few people that use them here in CA and I've heard nothing but good reviews. It is more versatile than most euro guns. Good choice!
