Hi All,

I was in Cozumel, where i learnt to freedive, but also learnt that tourist area dive shops jack up prices somewhat. So I ordered an aquasphere winter swim skin in medium, from the USA, and my card was blocked. So i ordered the same suit from the UK. No problems. The suit arrived, but was still too big! I ordered a size down, but now would need a small (I'm 1,83m and 65kg - tall and skinny).

However, after moving back to the UK, where my diving will be pool based - dynamics only...depth diving here doesnt interest me too much. So i dont know if this suit would be suitable...as i really got it for jellyfish and sun protection.

The problem is, i have to send the suit back to the company i got it from, and either get a size exchange or change suit completely. The site is https://www.proswimwear.co.uk/ and has an OK range.

I am willing to go around £40 over the price for the Winter skin, and was looking at the Fastskin 3 open water legskin...i think maybe the speedo advertisers have got to me (anyone have any experience with the durability of these tech suits?). But i do like it, and think its a bit more versatile for pool work! I'm mainly focussed on general swimming for fitness and DNF and STA for competition.

What would you guys suggest, i'm really confused as to what to do. Any help will be greatly received!! Sorry for the rambling post! :head

Thanks guys,
Dom

Aquasphere Winterskin is OK for pool. Around 50% of French competitors, including the top ones, use exactly this wetsuit.
