Hey all,

After many many years i decided to get back to the exciting hobby of spearfishing.

I got a all the necessary gear including a Salvimar Wild60 and Wild40 spearguns (always liked to have a backup with me just in case).

Im planning to do my first dive in my home country Cyprus, in rocky waters not deeper than 4 meters.

Any tips from you guys for my first attempt after 15 years are welcome :)

Welcome back :) Little has changed. Maybe the odd carbon fibre barrel or rollergun (new versions of an old idea).

Transparent Omer Ice fins? Came and went. Fantastic idea but not tough enough for spearing, yet. I- hope they persevere with the idea, and name, brilliant.

Lots of technique discussion on Saspearo's Hunting thread. Browse the forum ( or use Google to search it ;)).
