Exe Spearfishing Club Dive - Sunday 26th April 2009

Postponement of the dive

Dear Spearo's

Due to poor weather conditions that we are experiencing today (Strong 20mph winds from the south) we have unfortunately decided to cancel the club dive again. This is very unfortunately and we apologise for the inconvenience caused with a second cancellation. I'm sure you understand the safety implications involved with having a number of divers in a small area.

The good news is we hope to hold the club dive on Sunday 10th May, meeting at the slipway for 9.30am leaving for the breakwater by 10.00am.

Thank you for your continued patience, we will keep going with this!

Kind regards

The Exe club committee

Ps. please forward this information to anyone who is unlikely to look at the DB forum

Exe Spearfishing, Dorset & Wessex Club dive

Guys,

Unfortunately we have had a first hand report from Paul Smith that Beer and Branscombe are not fit to dive. The winds have swung to South and SSW, which has chopped the water up. Paul is already in situ and says that there is no visibility with rough seas.

On behalf of all the clubs we apologise for any inconvenience caused to you.

Please inform anyone who may not see the forum of the postponed combined club dive.

We will look at an alternative date and will let you know soon.

Cheers

Paul
