I have a RA Sparid 1300 and while I was in perth a few months ago I bought a spring steel spear off of Barry Paxman with the Bluewater Freedivers of WA while I was staying at his house and he was sure that if I got a ten cm longer spear than what came stock with the gun i would increase my accuracy. I refuse to argue with a man who has shot so many records (and so have his sons) and generally only uses one rubber (even on a marlin he killed). I was wondering if anyone can explain this, as Even he didn't really know why it works, just taht it does.
