Extreme Ironing

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
We (freedivers) were group J - first buoy from the pontoon in about 8m. The freediver who got interviewed was Virginia Bell.

It wasn't actually that cold - warmer underwater than on the surface!
Hmmm, I clocked 5 degrees on the 146, and -2 on the surface.. call me a woose, but that's cold ;)

Thanks, Sam! Respect to all concerned. I've a feeling freediving might have been easier to control than grubbing round in the silt like wot some us us were... :)
 
Well done guys 'n' dolls! Congratulations on the record and a fantastic effort on being there and taking part. I've been out of the loop for various reasons, not that my ironing is much cop :D, but anyway, mighty Blighty!!

Tsk, tsk ... and no one ventured to Jimmy Deans?!! I dunno ... it'll be hot chocolate and bed by 8:00 next.
