Hello everyone , hope you all are doing great and everything if good with u . first i want to thank ppl whose responsible for this forum and all members, its a great source for the valuable information to beginners like me
second, am having a small problem. yesterday i went down to 11m and stayed for about 1 min trying to get my shaft back and i felt pain in my right eye and my up right side on my teeth . the pain kept happening every-time i try to get deeper than my usual which is 6 to 8 meters.
should i see a doc or the problem will disappear with training .
excuse my bad English:blackeye

I don't ever think advice on a forum should be replaced with a doctors visit when there is pain involved. That said, the advice you can get here can be very very good. But a doctors visit will never be a bad thing. :)

By the way, welcome in!! And your English is fine, lets face it, the worst people for English are Australian's, American's and British. :)

Reef-troll thank you so much for your fast reply, i know visiting a doc wont hurt but i was thinking if its common or knew the reason and the cure , i believe 70% of docs here wont know anything about freediving.

I agree 100% with ReefTroll's advice, see a doc. That being said, your troubles sound a lot like sinus squeeze to me and seem very similar to what I normally experience. The sinus cavities are quite close to both your teeth and your eyes, and in my case they are often blocked on one side only, hence the pain is only on one side, behind my eye or in the teeth. In my case, the pain is caused by mucus build up in the sinuses and is harmless, but sometimes painful. If the pain is bad, I usually stop the dive and try again another day. The pain you have may be caused by something else though and seeing a doc is never a bad idea. This type of problem is not freedive specific, so most ear, nose and throat specialists will probably be able to give you some sound advice and possibly a means of treatment. Good luck!

Could also be toothsqueeze;small bubble of air trapped inside a filling.Hurts like hell aparently...

ive had this once , when down to about 38m fealt a small click insinus areas then next dive could not get down past 2 m absolutley worst pain ive ever had .
welcome to db dont forget to see doctor

well , thanks alot for your time and advise, i will go see a doc but is it a dentist or an eye doc or ear one !! i think i will see a dentist :(
thanks again guys

pain in teeth could indicate a filling that needs addressing (usually caused by air trapped underneath the filling is compressing due to pressure).

As for eye? No eye-dea *doh* Well come on, someone had to!?!

ok here is my experience. I had this problem on occasion from my early years of freediving. Apparently it could be very innocent swell in sinus maxillarus or frontals, something like mild cold symptoms. It will go away in a day or two on its own, and your dives will be back to normal. Some sinuses irradiate pain into maxilla and may feel like tooth problem, I am pretty sure this is what it is in your case. Of course, I am not a doctor and you may very well have incurable deadly desease :)
