Well boys and girls, the time is upon us once more.

Please post all your ideas and comments concerning the FOM/FOY here and not on the FOM thread, thank you.

Hey jonny here is a pic from Derek's log, it was a few years back, in fact Derek was about 46 years old & fishing a mark in about 40' of water around 1 mile out from the shore.
I went out with him once & only once! I was 25 years old & a competitive swimmer but, Derek definitely had the legs on me!
The event took three hours including a 30 minute swim either way, Derek caught 3 big plaice & I had 2 but, he would do this three or four times a week for about 15 years until his ears could take no more!
At least you know where go Jonny...

So the first FOM has started and the first Bass has been shot, and the best thing is, is that it came from good old Dorset.
Come on all you Irish boys, I’ve read a lot of fighting talk but you’re nowhere to be seen…:):):):):)

Good old Flyflicker - first bass of Spring, as always, and now first entry to kick off the OMD FOM for 2011.
Us Irish are held up by dirty seas oh ginger one.:)
(Won't be long though)

Some brill fish for April.... can't wait to see what he rest of the year brings in!
There gonna be any late entries?

some cracking entries this month Bobdonny :) I had to go for the Plaice, I mainly target flatties and that is a dream fish for me :)

for shure!

tough choice between bass and plaice.... if i saw both i'd prob take the plaice, but for this time of year a bass is great but a double figure is amazing... last years april fom didnt even have a bass...

twas a very tough dcecision...
