The last email I received from Rudi was back in June of 2005 - evidently the strain of freediving financially had been draining - He said that they are working on a new business, opening a wine shop/cafe/bistro in downtown Miami, so he is very busy with that and doesn't have any instructor courses scheduled for a while. It's too bad, FREE's concept I felt was a good one but unfortunately, one cannot fight something as big as AIDA alone.

Which reminds me I need to email him and see how he and Yasemin are doing.

I just got an e-mail from Rudi. They are working on the wine business but plan to sell it after 2 years and open a FREE diving centre in Thailand.

So at the moment we can state that there is only one official international freediving federation, AIDA? Oh wait... AIDA is an association! So there is no official freediving federation?

So no worldrecords anymore under the FREE flag?

Now that's bad news. I haven't tracked the F.R.E.E. organization for quite a long time but weren't David and Olga in their team as well? The little article Jorg posted talked only about Yasemin and Rudi. So what are the other two doing? I know David posts here in the forums every now and then, but what about records and pro-freediving?
