Facebook has an web application that allows you to find divebuddy and log your dives. Here is the description of the app from Facebook:

"Let your friends know the amazing places you've dived and snorkeled. Share your stories and pictures; look up your dive spots on 3D Google Earth or satellite map. Find others divers in your area and buddy up. Find out where divers dive and the dive operators they use. Check it out, may be your friends already logged a dive with you in it, you just don't know it yet."

Facebook has catapulted from the 60th most visited site to the 8th (according to Alexa) in less than 12 months, they must be scrambling to keep the site up. This thing is so addictive...

Pretty cool application... Just set it up.

I found some freedivers sort of in my area which is always good.

i cant get on facebook at all! briefly this morning and that was my lot... it says time out...taking too long to respond..

Just installed it, will have a play after I read the 1000 emails from the weekend.

Facebook is getting out of control... people keep sending me drinks, inviting me to join superlatives, music, sms, are you interested, muppet hurling (ok I made that one up), there's just so bloody much on that I can't keep up with actually using it to catch up with people!

It does have it's good points though - a mate from school found me who i'd been trying to find for about 12 years. Also on Friday another guy from school I hadn't seen in 13 years (who was a bit of a bushy and I didn't think would ever leave our town let alone Aus) got in touch with me and lives a couple of hundred metres away from me here in London! :friday Pretty cool stuff. But there is always yang to the ying - a couple of crazy ex'es are coming out of the woodwork :head

i live in fear of THAT day rofl rofl

have also caught up with loads of school mates, very cool app indeed. just i cant get in right now :head

I've been having heaps of troubles over the last couple of weeks - it keeps dropping out and you have to refresh constantly. Could just go old school I supposed and type up an email....
