good to hear from you, I live in Donegal in the NW. A quick question, is there an organised irish freediving organisation, if not, a possible idea may be to start one???

Hi mark,
There is nothing official here at present but I would be very interested in setting up or helping to set up one. i have e-mailed Aida as they had an official contact here at one time but I got no response so far. There are a few guys in Dublin as well. A guy called Graham in UCD sac I think would proabaly also be on for it. i,m sure there are other spearos out there also who might join up. But what other than a place of contact/ info would a club provide. I have mailed the BFA a few times and have been encouraged to try and start something affiliating to themselves for insurance reasons. I have got safety documents for pool training from them already. I would love to even try to set up a regular training session but distances may not permit. Huan is in Cork I believe and may not be interested in pool training ( i could be wrong ) others are in Dublin etc. Be interested to know if we have any national Aida records also or can I turn up at a comp and do 5m cw and claim the title lol.
