I have often wondered which famous people enjoy spearfishing.
I know Tiger Woods is a keen spearo, and that Leslie Charteris of "The Saint" fame was another keen spearo.
Who else do you know that is a famous person and a spearo?

I believe I once read that David James Elliot, who plays Harm in JAG, grew up in the Bahamas and is a Spearfisherman.

My wife keeps watching just to see if he will finally spear Catherine Bell.

Kevin Costner- I've seen a pic of him with a halibut he shot.
I believe Hugh Hefner is always up for chasing a bit of tail too :)

Yall still claim Tiger even though he likes to tank it?:)

According to a post on the Freedivelist his is taking the Performance Freediving course in the Bahamas. Maybe he has come to Jesus.

"even though he likes to tank it"

Rumor is, Kirk is working on that this week.

Aloha
Bill

What about real people, not sport, pop or film stars? Leaders of a country? How about Fidel Castro? He was a keen spearo when he wasn't kicking American butt. Can't see Tony Blair being one though!
