Far North NZ has massive fish!!!!!

Hi, from NZ - Kaitaia . Gt a 66pd Yellowtail Kingfish last week....YEAAAAA!
So great but...seriously bent my spear in the process, have just bought a slip tip and am experimenting with ways to get it to stay on till after a fish is shot!
Tis proving a hassle, and only staying on sometimes! Or staying on too well! then the shot fish departs with a hole (new perspective on spearfishers)
